Billy Helvey

Billy Helvey is a driven, talented professional with a passion for business and networking. He holds the esteemed title of Vice President of Ingram Capital, and serves as co-founder of Contractors Closers and Connections in Kansas City, deeply committed to growth and development in the Missouri area. In his free time, he can be found exercising his passion for health – running, weight lifting, or playing with his three children – though not before cheering on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs.

With a heart full of love for his family (including the four-legged ones), an eagerness to connect with others in his community and beyond, and a sharp eye for successful investment opportunities in commercial real estate, Billy Helvey has truly created an expertly balanced life that never ceases to impress.

MICAH WALJE

RONCO CONSTRUCTION

Micah Walje is the Project Develop Manager at Ronco Construction’s Kansas City office. His role is a combination of business development and preconstruction where he pursues projects both locally and nationally. He pursues projects in multiple verticals including multi-family, hospitality, industrial, mixed-use, aviation, religious, office, retail, historical, educational, and infrastructure. He loves the process of helping build a book of business from scratch in new markets and building our brand nationally.

Micah has a natural knack for business networking. He is involved in a wide variety of CRE and AEC organizations, as well as many chambers of commerce. Micah’s peers have referred to him as a super-connector. He loves to connect people in a way that helps them achieve their goals and enjoys networking without the expectation of personal gain. He strives to be a person who is a good resource for my network.

BRYANT DAWSON

INGRAM CAPITAL

 

Bryant Dawson is a former oil and gas Project Manager and currently the CEO of Ingram Capital, LLC. He went from overseeing and organizing projects valuing over $5B to building a real estate empire through flipping and investing in single-family real estate. Bryant switched career paths over a decade ago to ultimately obtain time freedom and make his money work for him.

In the past 10 years, Bryant has conducted over 1800 single-family real estate transactions, built a property management company, and a construction company from the ground up to create a vertically integrated real estate empire. By his early 30’s Bryant has $50 million AUM.

DREW NEUBAUER

NEU DEVELOPMENT

Drew Neubauer is the Founder & CEO of NEU Development, LLC a Kansas City-based commercial real estate development firm specializing in Multi-Family projects. He leads the vision, strategy, and execution of Multi-Family developments that create value for investors, tenants, and communities. NEU Development believes projects are “people-driven & passion fueled” with leading core values of Communication, Collaboration, Transparency and Commitment.

Drew began his professional career in the commercial real estate industry as an Office Broker for a well-respected firm specializing in providing advisory services to office users throughout the Kansas City Metro. He then transitioned into the commercial construction sector where he held the position of Vice President of Business Development for a national commercial general contractor based in the Kansas City area solidifying his experience in the CRE industry. Drew then decided in 2021 to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and start NEU Development LLC which has grown through long-term strategic partnerships in the industry driving his passion for people and real estate.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Marketing from Kansas State University, he has a strong background in relationship management, team building, leadership, and market analysis. He applies these skills to identify opportunities, negotiate deals, and deliver high-quality results.

TAYLOR MINGOLLA

VERITAS ARCHITECTURE + DESIGN

Taylor embodies the essence of creative problem-solving and strategic innovation in the field of business development and marketing. With a decade’s worth of experience under her belt, Taylor has made significant contributions to the growth and success of small to medium-sized companies across a multitude of industries. Her diverse professional background, coupled with a unique approach to tackling challenges, allows her to bring invaluable insights and strategies to whatever table she finds herself sitting at.

In February 2024, Taylor began an exciting new chapter as the Business Development Director at Veritas Architecture + Design, based in Kansas City, Kansas. Here, she is at the forefront of the firm’s business development processes. Her responsibilities are multifaceted, including the formulation and implementation of long-term business development and marketing strategies, as well as representing Veritas in various external networking groups and business development events. Her role is pivotal in navigating the firm towards unprecedented growth and market leadership.

Though not an architect by profession, Taylor’s roots from growing up in a General Contracting household have instilled in her a profound appreciation for design and construction, alongside the values of hard work and dedication. This background has seamlessly integrated into her current role, enabling her to connect deeply with the mission and vision of Veritas Architecture + Design.

SEAN RANDALL-THOMPSON

CBRE

Sean is a member of CBRE Kansas City’s office brokerage team. Sean works across multiple business lines such as tenant representation, landlord representation, and capital markets throughout Missouri and Kansas. Sean specializes in representing wealth management and financial institutions, minority and women-owned organizations, and small businesses across the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Sean graduated from Radford University (Virginia) with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting focused in Corporate Taxation, as well as a second Bachelor’s degree in Finance focused on Real Estate. Following his graduation in 2017, Sean began his career in Public Accounting supporting partnerships, corporations, and individuals through preparation of financials, business consulting, and various other engagements. In October of 2021, Sean completed the last of four CPA exams and began to transition his sole focus into commercial real estate.

Since transitioning, Sean has partnered with the top Brokers at CBRE and has had the privilege to represent some of the company’s most esteemed clients. We are thrilled to have Sean with CCC of KC as we grow the chapter in KC and the brand nationally.

JAY RUNNFELDT

CRG CONSTRUCTION

Jay is a business development executive with CRG Construction CRG believes in creating positive, long-lasting relationships with clients, architects, developers, real estate, and construction professionals. CRG seeks to grow its business by building quality relationships and executing successful projects.

Previously Jay served as a business development/project manager for another KC local commercial general contractor where he helped exponentially scale the company. As a part of his current role with CRG, Jay draws from his previous experience as an owner-operator of 14 hospitality concepts for which he spearheaded the design and project management for the grand openings. He has provided similar consulting services for many other additional businesses.

Jay currently serves on the board of the Downtown Shawnee Chamber of Commerce advisors which helps guide and advise community and public projects. Previously, he served on the board of KC Can Compost, a local non-profit. Jay is a husband and father of two young, school-aged girls and has coached girl’s soccer for the last five years.

ALLYSON MYERS

FIRST CITIZENS BANK

Allyson is the Business Banking Specialist at First Citizens Bank in Overland Park, Kansas. She works with business owners in Kansas and Missouri and specializes in cash and treasury management. Allyson has worked at First Citizens for over six years, receiving two promotions during her tenure.

As a First Citizens banker, she feels it is important to invest in understanding her client’s business strategies, and key objectives. A proactive advisory approach helps tailor solutions to fit each individual organization. Allyson’s Clients appreciate the trusted partnership in planning for long-term success. Her industry focus includes, veterinarian, medical, AEC, and nonprofit organizations.

Outside of work, Allyson is a kickboxing instructor, actively involved in her church, and volunteering with animal rescue groups across the city. She enjoys traveling, being active, and outdoor adventures with her two Golden Retrievers.

ESRA ABU EL RUB

Esra’a Abu El Rub contributes a wealth of expertise to the construction and architecture field as an Associate Architect in the Community Division at GLMV. She achieved her Bachelor of Architecture with honors from Abu Dhabi University in 2019. Post-graduation, Esraa embarked on a full-time role with Gensler under the Lifestyle Flex Studio, where she contributed to commercial projects spanning the Gulf and the Middle East. Subsequently, she pursued further education at the University of Kansas (KU), earning a Master’s degree in Construction Management with a focus on architectural engineering and building energy conservation, which was completed in May 2023.

Esraa commenced her journey with GLMV as an intern in May 2022 and, upon graduation, secured a full-time position with the company.

With experience on diverse projects across the United States and the Middle East for various firms, Esraa has gained valuable insights into various architectural landscapes. Fluent in Arabic, she seamlessly integrates her educational background, technical skills, and international experience to provide a distinctive perspective in the construction and architecture industry at GLMV. Esraa’s steadfast commitment to design and construction excellence positions her to make noteworthy contributions to the built environment.
